Aston Martin DB4: The Technologies

Aston Martin DB4 is provided with an aluminium 240-horsepower 6-cylinder 3.7-liter (3669 cubic centimeters) engine that features two overhead camshafts.

Aston Martin DB4 is based on a welded platform of steel sheets with longeron boosters. The front wheels are set on crossbars and springs.

Unlike its predecessor Aston Martin DB4 has its rear suspension based on trailing arms and torsions. Sports modification, which is Aston Martin DB4 GT, is a coupe with two Weber carburetors, double ignition, and short wheelbase.

It features 302-horsepower 6-cylinder in-line engine with two overhead camshafts while its displacement is 3669 cubic centimeters.

The automobile was also provided with a 4-speed manual gearbox and with brake disks.

Aston Martin DB4 developed the speed of 250 km/h, which was the maximum and it did 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds. Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato modification was provided with 300-horsepower engine capable of 252 km/h speed.
