Aston Martin's economic status improved in the 90ies thanks to Ford Corporation that owned the company, therefore new sports "DB-7" model provided with 6-cylinder 335-horsepower engine was introduced.

What is more, the automobile was named in the way it used to have been named some 20 years ago.

Aston Martin DB7 (the cabriolet) was introduced in 1996.

Vantage Aston Martin DB7 made its debut in 1999.
