Aston Martin DBS: The Technologies

Aston Martin DBS is provided with 282-horsepower 6-cylinder engine featuring 3 SU carburetors and 8.9:1 compression ratio.

The customer can also choose 325-horsepower Vantage engine with triple Webers carburetor and 9.4:1 compression ratio. Certain models were provided with Brico electronic fuel-injection system.

The car a rather increased weight and a large forebody section, therefore it was rather fast for a 4-seat coupe.

The top speed was 227 km/h and 0-100 km/h was done in 7.1 seconds.

The automobile was also later provided with an aluminium V8 engine of 5340 cubic centimeters that produced up to 450 hp (the minimum was 300 hp).
